November-December newsletter 2020

Welcome back from the break everyone. This winter term we have lots of exciting activities and Christmas fun planned.
We encourage the children to be outdoors daily and would really appreciate it if you could make sure that all items of clothing are labelled clearly for us to see. This prevents loss of clothing and stops confusion and anguish amongst the children.
Children in Need
Friday 13th November is children in need. We will be asking the children to wear their pj's and to bring in the minimum of £1 for this privilege.
Please could you not encourage the wearing of onesies as the children really struggle with toileting and getting changed independently.
Learning journeys
It is unfortunate that because of Covid 19 we were unable to have our usual parents evening in October.
So we will be sending home the learning journey's on Thursday 12th and Friday 13th November for you to look at over the weekend. We value comments made and will answer any questions that you have regarding your child's progress.
Please return the learning journal on Monday or Tuesday so that we can continue to promote the children's individual learning progress.
Christmas Raffle
We hope to have a Christmas raffle this year, although it will be slightly different.
The raffle will be displayed on the table by the main entrance into pre-school for all to see.
However, we cannot draw the raffle as we normally do, so the children will pick out the winning tickets during the morning session on Monday 14th December.
Unfortunately, this means that there will be no Christmas performance from the children this year but I am sure that they will be singing the new songs to you all at home.
We will aim to send out tickets for purchasing during the next couple of weeks.
Christmas Party

This year's Christmas party will be on Thursday 17th December 10am-1pm.

We will supply a party lunch so no lunch boxes will be needed on this day.
Father Christmas will be making a short appearance outside on his mobility scooter to hand over his sack of present's for the pre-school elves to hand out !!!
